CHOICES WE MAKE

Life, someone asked Emerson is what? And the great thinker replied, nothing but a chain of unending choices and decisions. Some choices are easy, skirt or dress, Some are tough, pure chocolate pleasure or pleasure with chocolate chip punctuations, and Some are very very tough, ones that define our path, and have it in them to alter the course of our lives forever, FOREVER!First major big decision I took was when I reached, ‘Plus 1’, ‘11th’ or the ‘Big 1’, and here is also one major mistake I made. To justify, it was easy you know, Medical meant 40 years of study, Commerce meant math for breakfast, math for lunch, math for dinner, snack time? Oh we have math again! Non Medical meant instant 4 year degree, la-la-ta-da-ta-da!!Long epic short, blunder, BLUNDER made...  took Non Medical J So, why in the World am I spilling all these regretful beans, when I preach a regret-free life? To tell you something so clichéd, yet so profound.Do what your heart says. DO WHAT YOUR HEART SAYS. DO ONLY WHAT YOUR HEART SAYS. An ideal job is where one loses sight of time, because you enjoy your work too much. It gives you unending joy, bliss, and extreme happiness! Like cooking, Rub bands with Madhur Jaffrey, like singing, don’t stop till you give MJ a deadly complex, like painting, let Picasso run about for his money, only then will life be worth living! Because Passion, and only Passion Breeds Success. Nothing else. Ask anyone worth, they’ll tell you, they followed, chased, ran behind their dreams and One Fine Day, their dreams hugged them back, kissed them and made them happiest people in the World. So, chuck those naggy relatives, and foolish aunties, have the nerve to take the road less travelled, and become as famous as Czech President Vaclav Havel! (Stupid analogy, I know, non med, remember? ;)
